SHIPPING


Shipping and Processing Time

Once payment is completed, your order will be processed and shipped within 3 - 5 working days (Monday-Friday, excluding Malaysia National holidays). 

All parcels are shipped via Poslaju(Peninsular Malaysia) and DHL(East Malaysia).

You will receive an automated shipping notification email with a tracking details. If you do not receive an email within 48 hours, please contact us.



Shipping rates

We offer a flat rate of RM10 for all standard shipping within Peninsular Malaysia. Free shipping is provided for orders of RM200 and above (not applicable for express delivery).


Shipping to East Malaysia is calculated based on weight and begins from RM18 for the first 1.5kg.


International Shipping

International shipping charges will be calculated based on weight. All parcels to Singapore will be shipped via Aramex.

Any other custom duties, taxes and additional charges by the receiving country will be borne by the customer.


Express delivery

Same day/ Next-day delivery is available for KL & Klang Valley, you may select Express Delivery on the checkout page. 

Kindly email/ drop us a message with your shipping address for a quote if it's not covered in our system.

*Same day delivery is only applicable for Express Delivery order placed before 3pm.




RETURN & EXCHANGE

At Håndlavet, we carefully inspect all product before they are shipped. Due to the handmade nature of our products, used items cannot be returned or refunded.

However, we want you to be completely satisfied with your order. If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, we're here to help. Please take extra care to read the Candle Care Tips card which comes with each candle.



Returns

While all sales are final, we're committed to ensuring your satisfaction. We only replace items if they are damaged during delivery. If your candle arrives damaged or if we've sent the wrong one, we'll gladly replace it.

- Please email us at [email protected] with your order number, photos of the damaged product or incorrect item, including the shipping packaging within 48 hours of delivery.

- We'll provide instructions on how to proceed, and process your request for a replacement swiftly.

Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds or exchanges if you do not like your scent(s) upon receipt. Each candle listing includes detailed fragrance notes. Please reach out if you have any concerns about potential sensitivities. We also cannot refund or replace products that have been used. 

If you received the wrong product or a product is missing from your order, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery.


Shipping for Returns

Shipping charges incurred in connection with the return of a product are non-refundable and are the responsibility of the customer.

Please keep the tracking information until your return has been processed. Any packages sent back to Håndlavet without prior communication will not be accepted and the will be returned to sender.

We do not assume responsibility for packages containing returns that are lost in transit or packaged poorly. 


Refunds (if applicable)

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, the refund will be issued via store credit/voucher to your account. Please note that sale items and shipping costs are non-refundable.
